About Cabarita Park Conservatory

Located within Cabarita Park, The Conservatory can be a really unique all-in-one wedding ceremony and reception solution for intimate weddings.

Cabarita Conservatory is a pavilion designed by Sam Crawford Architects.

It sits amongst the trees with one particular Moreton Bay Fig tree being a feature view from within the glass wrapped structure.

For couples who want a private wedding all in one location, this is the perfect spot.

Essential Information

The Conservatory may be hired between 7am – 10pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 11.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

These are the hire fees:

  • Monday to Thursday: $55 per hour (4-hour minimum hire)
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday: $129 per hour (4 hour minimum hire)

A bond of $600 is payable to City of Canada Bay Council.

Kitchen facilities are limited although there is an area for a food truck.

Hire of the facility includes 80 chairs, 15 trestle tables and 5 cocktail tables (if required).

The Conservatory has disabled access (including accessible restroom).

For private weddings, City of Canada Bay Council does not require you to have public liability insurance. However, you can purchase public liability insurance for an additional $25.

I sure can! As an ex-wedding photographer for almost a decade, you can count on me to be very picky.

Venue Review

For elopement weddings and intimate weddings, Cabarita Park Conservatory is a no-brainer in my books. It is clean, minimal and has plenty of natural light and being a local council event space, the hire fees are very reasonable.

There are plenty of west-facing locations for bridal photos nearby so you can take advantage of beautiful sunset photo ops.
